These lovely ladies are well cared for by myself and my brothers. We raise them as 4-H and FFA projects. Their kids (baby goats) are sold as pets or for other 4-H members to show. I started making goat milk soap as part of my SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) Project for FFA. I was inspired by a demonstration on making soap at the FFA State Convention. I went home and as I weaned the girls I started to collect their excess milk and freeze it for use in soap. I am unconventional as I don't take kids away and bottle feed them. I prefer to let the mother do her job then to collect the milk I need after weaning.
